He’s come down with something so terrible he can barely walk anymore. I know you haven’t exactly seen eye to eye with your uncle over the years, but I was hoping you might step in and help. Kevin shuddered at the thought of giving Uncle Thomas an ounce of help.
Years ago, Kevin and his parents were kicked out of the family when he made an investment that looked like a failure. Along with his grandfather, Uncle Thomas was all too willing to dismiss Kevin and his parents. But then, when the investment finally paid off and Kevin became rich beyond anything the Williams family had ever known, Uncle Thomas pressed Kevin to lend the family money and still tried to sabotage his new empire.
They were not on the best of terms, to say the least. Kevin looked at Alan with resentment in his eyes. Why should I lift a finger to help him, Dad? He’s been treating us terribly for years.
He didn’t help us one bit when Grandfather Williams kicked us all out of the house forever, so why should I help him now? A serious look crept over Alan’s face. Because he is family, Kevin. He may have wronged us in the past, but he is still my brother.
We can’t just sit back and watch him die. Kevin wrestled with his father’s words. Part of him really wanted to do exactly that.
Just sit back and let Thomas die. But in the end, he knew his conscience would torture him if he let that happen. He didn’t like it, but he had to at least try and help.
He looked at Alan and took a deep breath. I’ll see what I can do. What’s he sick with, anyway? Alan shrugged.

Alan nodded and stepped inside closing the door behind him. As Kevin approached the Night King was studying the skyline. Before Kevin even said anything, the Night King seemed to know he was there.
You have not forgotten your destiny, have you? The Night King’s face was stoic and serious as Kevin walked up beside him. You still haven’t told me what that destiny is. You know, as far as I can tell, my destiny is to be a good husband and father.
